The one problem I am having is that I can't get it to work with a USB phone that I have. It selects it ok, but no sound and the microphone doesn't work either. The USB phone works fine with Skype.

I have had no trouble downloading X-Lite and SJphone softphones however they do not incorporate the G729 codec which I would like as I do not have access to broadband. I assume that your softphone has the codec in the linux version.

The only caviat I see is the missing "voicemail notification" in the free version. If this feature would be included inthe free version, I would give the ratin excellent. Without this feature, having in mind the portability of the application, it is a "very good" tool.
